SOCCER CHAT: SUPER CHICKENS CAN FLY

Go Eagles, Go Eagles. On to semi-finals to play Mali. I must admit, although I was rooting for the Super Eagles, I was not too confident we would win Ivory Coast with superstars like Drogba, Toure, Tiote and Eboue, and  after the awoof win against Ethiopia a few days ago.

 At the end of the day, we cannot support another country cos whether we like it or not, we ARE Nigerians. On to the next one. Oya leggo. See you all Wednesday as Nigeria takes on Mali and Ghana takes on Burkina Fasso.

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH, speaking of soccer, Omo, did you see the goals by Gerrard and Aguero? Gerrard is a BEAST. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant. Those goals put our African players to shame. Let me not even start comparing African Nations Cup to EPL (English Premiership League, for the uninitiated).  Sha, as long as Manchester United retains top spot, I don’t kia about anything else.
