2013- Should I try to work it out or just move on to another girl who seems nice?

Please!!! Everywhere I go, I see reminders that it’s a new year and it’s time to get rid of old habits (or girls). TV commercials, magazines and especially the radio cannot just stop talking about relationships!!!!

I hear men talking about breaking ties with one girl and elevating the status of another girl, who’s been patiently on the side. Guess what? The grass is always going to be greener on the other side.

Your girl will never be perfect and frankly, the more she likes you, the more she will fret about things you do. You could always see things this way, understand her flaws, recognize your own flaws, and talk with her about it, try and salvage the relationship…Many people would recommend that particular remedy.

Umm…sometimes public opinion sucks; you don’t have to join them if you can’t beat them. I think the key words in 2013 should be slow down. My brother, you are your own man, and there is no rule that says you should be tied down if you’re not happy. Take a breather from the relationship, from all the girls and please oh make it clear to ALL the ladies that you would like some space. It takes a real man to decide not to have a string of women because he “cannot make up his mind”. Now, that is just sad!

All your friends are in a relationship or married and are constantly reminding you to settle down. Eh hen? Relationship mentality progresses at different stages in different people, so before you start rushing to make up or even worse, rushing to make another girl the rebound girl, just reeelllaaxxxx.

Do your thing, and when you are ready, you won’t even have to think about what you do (or don’t do). For every man on earth, I’m sure there are at least seven women. The gals aren’t going anywhere.
